Cute little pastry shop with deliciously sweet treats. We tried the cookie butter cheesecake, the chocolate supreme, and the passionfruit cake. They were all amazing!
Petit Chou 229 1st. Ave. New York, NY 10003 Breakfast Croissandwich This sandwich is layered with scrambled eggs, applewood smoked bacon, and american cheese on laminated homemade croissant dough. One of my favorite bakeries in New York. I’ve been here several times and tried their cinnamon roll, raspberry cheesecake danish, monkey bread, chocolate crossaint, snicker puff and macaroon. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I have ambiance only 4 stars though because it’s a pretty small place with limited seating and can get cramped during busy times, like most cafes/bakeries in NYC.
I flew in from FL visiting New York, and this was the first place I stopped for a treat. THE PASTRIES ARE EVEN BETTER THAN THEY LOOK!!! I got a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and the layering of the croissant was layered so beautifully and tasted DELICIOUS! I took few pastries to go and they all were outstanding. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back for so much more!
Everything ive tried from here is fresh and delicious. Really amazing service friendly informative. The shop is small and cozy has a few seats. The best cheesecake pastries Ive ever tried. Valentine's specials were great the blueberry cheesecake tart was perfect, cookie butter cheesecake was so delicious I got it for mt sister and when I tasted it I wanted one for myself. Mom loves the guava cheesecake and the snickers cake was another highly rated one. Anything you get is bound to be delicious 10 out 10 recommend.
Absolutely delicious. I got the blueberry cinnamon roll. The brown sugar and blueberry cream cheese complemented the softness of this cinnamon roll so much. It had just the right amount of richness and gooeyness. So good!
This small, unassuming counter service bakery should be all over social media, their treats are incredible!!! The PB&J puff is a perfectly decadent dessert. The guava cheesecake Danish and cookie butter cheesecakes are super creamy and tasty.
Amazing patisserie The pastries are filling and delicious. Very unique cobmbinations and flavours. The cost is well worth it. The pastry itself esp the croissant types are well laminated. The pistachio eclair is stuffed with pistachio. The almond croissant does not have an artificial flavour. Pain chocolate is stuffed with delicious chocolate ganache...and its hugee The banana custart tart and the guava tarts were mind blowing and definitely the stars of the show. The savoury egg quiche tarte was a little underwhelming in flavour
Are you passionate about pistachios? I am and at Petit Chou there is a pistachio éclair ($8) that is simply divine. Studded with a profusion of the tasty nuts, this pastry also has pistachio cream inside making each bite heavenly. I ate this last Friday. It's best to wait a few minutes to let it soften a bit before starting to eat. When I truly enjoy something I tend to eat slowly savoring each bite even though I know I may have it again.
